You enter the Sweets World Café and head to the staff room. As you walk past the tables, you can't help but smell the delicious scent of sweets calling out to your hungry belly. However, you know your mission comes first, and you open the door to the staff room to find the waiters, Max and James.
After opening the door, you find two young waiters waiting for you. The waiter on the left greets you by stating:
"Hi, you must be the agent from the GOM. My name is Max. This one over here is James."
James gives a small smile and confirms Max's statement:
"Nice to meet you, my name is James. We have a bit of a problem. You see..."
As you listen to Max and James take turns to explain their situation, you find out the following:
Max and James need to earn $2,646 to purchase an expensive birthday gift for their boss. When their hourly wage is combined, they make $18 per hour. How many hours will Max and James both need to work to finally purchase the birthday gift?
